"someday no child will ever have to face cancer."

tay-bandz is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding pediatric cancer research and raising awareness of pediatric cancer. tay-bandz consists of only volunteers, and therefore every dollar raised goes directly to research to find a cure.
tay-bandz was founded in 2003 when 11 year old Taylor Matthews was diagnosed with bone cancer. Shortly after diagnosis Taylor became aware that very little government funding is available for pediatric cancers. There is also precious little private philanthropy. Children don't vote, march on Washington or pay taxes. Taylor realized that kids with cancer needed a champion.
Taylor wanted some good to come from her battle with cancer, so with the help of family and friends Taylor started tay-bandz.

tay-bandz has awarded pediatric cancer research grants to several major cancer hospitals including Memorial Sloan Kettering, Children's Hospital of Columbia Presbyterian and MD Anderson cancer center.

In February 2008 taylor lost her battle. However, her wishes, dreams and hopes remain eternal through our work with her foundation. tay-bandz started as, and still remains, an organization of "Kids Helping Kids."

PLEASE HELP US FIGHT CANCER $1 AT A TIME.
